Position Overview:
As a Healthcare Services Manager, you will oversee and guide our coordination team, ensuring that all service hours are fulfilled while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Your collaboration with the Registered Manager (holding dual CQC registration) and the Head of Service Delivery will be crucial in achieving full compliance with regulatory standards set by CQC.

The primary objective of a Healthcare Services Manager is to guarantee that top-notch care is provided in alignment with the strategic goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team dedicated to customer service excellence within our coordination hubs.
  • Ensure the coordination team efficiently plans and schedules care and nursing personnel into structured shifts, aiming for a fulfillment target of 100%.
  • Provide support to the Out of Hours coordination service as needed, utilizing your problem-solving skills.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-one sessions, performance evaluations, and support the professional development of team members.
  • Monitor and manage costs associated with shift fulfillment, including overtime and agency staffing.
  • Facilitate the proper onboarding and scheduling of team members for care assignments, ensuring competency assessments and managerial approvals are completed.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and GDPR regulations by the team.
  • Support the recognition and reporting of safeguarding issues and assist in resolving HR matters.
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment team to address staffing needs effectively.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and funding bodies, ensuring open communication and prompt resolution of concerns.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards is essential.
  • Demonstrated management experience, ideally with relevant qualifications.
  • A minimum of one year in operations management or at least two years in team leadership roles.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities coupled with excellent communication skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and possession of a valid UK driving license.
