Location: Site/Office based

Contract Type: Permanent Full-time, with shift patterns

Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from £46,000 to £48,000 annually, inclusive of a company vehicle and additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

As the Lighting Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of Planned & Reactive maintenance, Third-Party repairs, and Scheme Works, ensuring thorough oversight of both directly employed staff and subcontractors.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting a culture of Health & Safety within the workplace, leading by example and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Conducting Shift briefings, Site Inductions, and Toolbox Talks with operational personnel to identify and manage risks and hazards effectively.
  • Performing various audits, including Gate checks, Works Surveillance Safety Audits, and Depot Inspections as necessary.
  • Monitoring workmanship and material quantities for all projects, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the Lighting Operations Supervisor role will possess:

  • Experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • SMSTS/SSSTS certification.
  • NRSWA operative or Supervisor qualifications.
  • Familiarity with electrical works, specifically in street lighting.
