Superior Healthcare provides at-home complex care services to children, young people, and adults across the UK. Founded in 2006, we have been dedicated to supporting families who have had to make significant adjustments due to life-changing incidents or diagnoses.

The Role:

We are urgently seeking Care Assistants, Healthcare Assistants, and Support Workers to cover regular night shifts, including weekends, in Sandwich.

As a care assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a long-term basis with one or a small number of clients in the local area.

Key Details:

  • Shifts: 8-12 hours at night, caring for one paediatric client per shift. 
  • Schedule: Fixed rota with overtime options

Essential Experience:

All our team members receive a fully paid, comprehensive, week-long, classroom-based training program with practical workshops before being introduced to our clients. This training covers all aspects of the Care Certificate and delves into skills needed to support complex clients, such as tracheostomy management and gastrostomy. Additionally, individual, client-focused training continues following the initial classroom induction.

  • PEG feeding
  • Oral suctioning
  • Tracheostomy care (preferred but not essential)
  • Ventilation
  • Epilepsy

Requirements:

  • Previous care experience, including personal care, is essential
  • Must be able to commit to at least two shifts per week
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your vehicle are essential
  • Must be based in the UK (we do not offer VISA sponsorship)
