The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Events Manager to join our team at Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients to increase sales and revenue
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of events, conferences, and banqueting, ensuring seamless execution and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the hotel's events and conferencing facilities

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales and events management, with a strong understanding of the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Driving license required for travel to and from appointments
