Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnership Manager to join our team at Backbase. As a key member of our Marketplace team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining best-in-class fintech partnerships globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the partnership pipeline, overseeing and coordinating partner-related projects, escalations, pricing strategy, and stakeholder management.
  • Collaborate with commercial leads to build field intelligence, trends, client requests, and feedback into planning for continuous improvement in Backbase partnerships.
  • Work closely with the Director on supporting pricing and commercial strategy for existing and new partners.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Product, Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, Marketing, and Legal teams.
  • Identify, vet, and sign new partners in the Fintech, Payments, and Banking space.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in partnerships, partnership management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of building impactful partnerships from innovation and revenue growth.
  • Understanding of coordinating and supporting critical stakeholders, including Product and Legal teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a similar field.
