About the Role

Totum Partners is seeking an experienced Business Manager to join our growing team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of our business strategy and driving operational excellence across our legal practice groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnership Support: Provide partnering support to practice leadership to drive operational excellence and high-quality client experience.
  • Business Planning and Execution: Support in the development and execution of business plans and objectives, including expansion plans, practice improvement opportunities, and the development of new client-focused products and services.
  • Project Management: Provide support to ensure the effective delivery of decisions and initiatives, tracking and monitoring progress, and making recommendations for action.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key stakeholder in projects and initiatives, ensuring that the interests, needs, and objectives of our practice groups and clients are appropriately represented and reflected.
  • Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with leadership and technology colleagues to leverage technology tools and capabilities to streamline operations.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct data collection and analysis to assist with key decision making and to assist on annual budget planning process.
Candidate Profile

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in business operations and project management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working in dynamic and demanding professional partnership environments.
  • Strong commercial background with demonstrable practical experience in financial management skills, including modeling and analysis, budget-setting, and managing to budget.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Proactive approach with a highly effective ability to prioritize and manage a competing workload of business-as-usual activities and important strategic priorities.
