Cloud and Infrastructure Projects Director

Vertex IT Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to lead our Cloud and Infrastructure projects.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned IT Project Manager to oversee the delivery of our Cloud and Infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of junior/project managers, ensuring high-quality project delivery within budget and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement PMO methodologies, standards, and tools
  • Manage and coach 2-3 project managers
  • Oversee IT project portfolios, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Monitor project performance, addressing issues proactively
  • Ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations on time and within budget
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors
  • Support business development with project estimates and proposals
  • Continuously improve project management processes and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years in IT project management, preferably in an MSP or IT consultancy
  • 3+ years of experience leading a PMO or project management team
  • Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) and Cloud certifications (Azure, 365 Fundamentals)
