Position Overview:

As the head of project management, you will guide and support a team of project managers, ensuring the successful execution of projects within established budgets and timelines. Your role will encompass strategic oversight, resource management, risk assessment, and effective communication with stakeholders. You will report directly to the COO and work in close collaboration with the executive team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish and enforce project management methodologies, standards, and tools.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of 2-3 project managers.
  • Manage IT project portfolios, ensuring they align with the strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Track project performance and proactively resolve any challenges.
  • Guarantee that projects fulfill or surpass client expectations, delivered on schedule and within financial constraints.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Assist in business development by providing project estimates and proposals.
  • Continuously enhance project management practices and results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Over 5 years of experience in IT project management, ideally within a managed service provider or IT consultancy.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading a project management office or team.
  • Relevant professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) and Cloud certifications (Azure, 365 Fundamentals).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
