About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at DHU Healthcare. As a key member of our urgent care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide autonomous practice and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments to diagnose and manage complex and common conditions in adults and children.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Administer and supply medication via PGD or Independent Prescribing, as required.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Registered Adult Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist with the relevant professional council.
  • Evidence of autonomous practice qualification, such as Autonomous Practice A33, Level 6 or 7 Clinical Examination Module, or Level 6 or 7 Minor Illness Module.
  • Experience in autonomous practice working and multi-professional teams.
  • Ability to demonstrate a broad and sound knowledge of complex and common conditions in primary care.
  • Experience in nurse-led clinics, emergency care centers, out-of-hours facilities, or walk-in centers.
  • Experience in administering and supplying medication via PGD or Independent Prescribing.
