Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner - Cardiology

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at North Thames Genomics Laboratory Hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Cardiology services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose patients with complex cardiac conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with medical staff.
  • Work autonomously, exercising independent judgment in history taking, examination, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure evidence-based practice and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive and accurate assessment and treatment records.
  • Participate in audit, education, and research activities to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Registration on the relevant part of the register with the NMC or HCPC with no restrictions on practice.
  • Master's degree level education meeting the requirements of the national framework for Advanced Level Practice.
  • Experience in Cardiology, with a strong understanding of cardiac conditions and treatment options.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make complex decisions in a pressurized environment.
