What our client offers:

Competitive Compensation:
GBP17.95 per hour, with overtime compensated at £22.44 per hour, plus additional remuneration for sleep-ins.
Full-time Permanent position: 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications for the Deputy Manager:

Essential Skills:

Educational Background:
Level 5 in Residential Childcare (or actively pursuing it).

Relevant Experience:
Demonstrated experience working with children and young people with learning difficulties and challenging behaviors.

Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Commitment:
A dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate approach to your role.

Driving Requirement:
A valid UK Driving Licence is necessary.

Stay Informed:
Remain updated on best practices, new regulations, and company policies. Take charge of your professional development and complete all mandatory training.

Professional Development Opportunities:

Engage in regular supervision and assume leadership roles in special projects as designated by the Registered Manager (e.g., mentor, health and safety representative, key worker).


Adaptability:
Embrace the dynamic nature of residential childcare by being open to tasks beyond the standard job description. If these tasks become regular, they will be formally integrated after discussion.
