We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Residential Childcare service. As a specialist childcare provider, we work with children who display challenging behavior and present with emotional and behavioral difficulties, ADHD, and autism.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of support workers, including direct supervision and the day-to-day running of the home. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing regular supervision and training to support workers
  • Working directly with children, setting a positive example for the team
  • Ensuring high staff-to-child ratios and no agency staff
  • Coordinating comprehensive induction training and in-house training for all staff
  • Funding professional qualifications for support workers, including the Diploma Level 3 for Residential Childcare and Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management
  • Implementing discretionary manager and peer rewards, including Amazon vouchers
  • Managing the Company Sick Pay Scheme and Workplace Pension Scheme
  • Ensuring adequate annual leave and benefits, including meals provided when on shift and on-site parking
  • Overseeing the Enhanced DBS check process
