What our client provides:
Competitive Compensation:
GBP17.95 per hour, with overtime compensated at £22.44 per hour, plus extra remuneration for sleep-ins.
Full-time Permanent: 37.5 hours per week.

Essential Skills:
Qualifications:
Level 5 in Residential Childcare (or currently pursuing it).
Experience:
Demonstrated experience working with children and young individuals with learning challenges and behavioral difficulties.
Leadership:
Strong capabilities in team leadership along with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Passion:
Committed, enthusiastic, and passionate about your responsibilities.
Driving:
A valid UK Driving Licence is necessary.

Remain updated on best practices, new regulations, and organizational policies. Take charge of your professional development and complete all required training.
Professional Development:
Engage in regular supervision and assume leadership roles in special initiatives as assigned by the Registered Manager (e.g., mentor, health and safety representative, key worker).
Adaptability:
Embrace the dynamic nature of residential childcare by being flexible in undertaking tasks beyond the standard job description. If these tasks become routine, they will be formally integrated after discussion.
