Job Title: Trainee Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer (Unqualified Assessor)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Childcare Manager to join our team as a Trainee Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in Residential Childcare, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a management role within a Residential Children's Home.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for training and developing others, and will be able to assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5. Additionally, the candidate will be able to support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2, and conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
  • Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
  • Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
  • Hold strong, occupational competency at Management level within a Residential Childcare setting.
  • Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
