A Logistics Coordinator is sought to become part of a thriving Steel manufacturing organization. This role presents an opportunity to engage with a dynamic Logistics team, overseeing customer order management, inventory levels, and ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of orders.

In this position, you will report to the Logistics Manager and be responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing inventory control and managing deliveries with both internal and external storage facilities.
  • Collaboratively handling all major accounts and addressing any inquiries.
  • Guaranteeing that customer orders are shipped and received punctually, liaising with internal production teams, transport providers, and ports.
  • Maintaining accurate transport logs and logistics documentation.
  • Managing stock levels - scheduling and advancing inventory to optimize stock flow and identify any significant changes or challenges.

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:

  • Proficient IT skills, with a strong aptitude for learning new systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Prior experience in roles such as Logistics Administrator, Transport Coordinator, or similar.
  • Ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational abilities.
