As a Residential Childcare Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting our staff, ensuring the smooth running of our residential homes, and making a positive impact on the lives of the children in our care.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional leadership and support to the Home Manager and Registered Manager, contributing to the overall success of the service.
  • Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the home in the absence of the manager, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all residents.
  • Implement and adhere to established policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and best practices within the residential childcare sector.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal obligations.
  • Supervise and mentor staff members, conducting regular appraisals and providing constructive feedback to enhance their professional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive work environment, fostering teamwork and open communication.
  • Promote the well-being and safety of all children in our care, adhering to safeguarding protocols and reporting any concerns promptly.
