Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of staff in a children's residential home, ensuring that they are equipped to provide high-quality care and support to children.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Work closely with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure that children receive comprehensive support.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and support, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Significant experience of working in a children's residential home or a similar setting.Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, staff, and other professionals.A deep understanding of the needs of children who have experienced trauma and adversity.
