About the Role

The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fundraising Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Leadership, you will play a vital role in securing the financial resources necessary to support our strategic initiatives and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to build a stronger and more sustainable income portfolio.
  • Engage with funders and build lasting relationships with stakeholders to maximise funding opportunities.
  • Provide expertise and coordination for fundraising activities across the organisation, working with colleagues from multiple teams to secure funding.
  • Take a lead role in bid development to support cross-organisation strategic opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of securing significant funding for a non-profit organisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
