About the Role

The Director of Fundraising and Partnerships will lead the Fundraising Department at Prospectus, a company that specializes in supporting charities and non-profit organizations. This is a 12-month maternity cover position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership of the department, its team of fundraisers, and growing the supporter relationship portfolio across philanthropy, trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Fundraising Department and its team of fundraisers
  • Grow the supporter relationship portfolio across philanthropy, trusts, foundations, and corporate partners
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase fundraising income
  • Represent the organization to stakeholders and build support for the charity
  • Manage high-value fundraising cycles, including prospecting, developing proposals, and securing funding at the six and seven-figure level
Requirements
  • Experience of leading fundraising departments at a senior level
  • Expertise in managing high-value fundraising cycles
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team of fundraisers
  • Comfortable with change and able to adapt to new situations
  • Passion for fundraising and a commitment to supporting the charity's mission
