About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compelling leader to join our team as Director of Development and Fundraising. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading our fundraising and development strategy, inspiring a team of talented fundraisers to success, and driving income growth across multiple income streams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve income growth and meet organizational goals
  • Lead a team of fundraisers to deliver successful fundraising campaigns and events
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with corporate partners, national bodies, and trusts and foundations
  • Manage and report on fundraising income, ensuring accurate financial planning and reporting
  • Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive organizational growth and development

About You

You will be an experienced fundraising professional with a proven track record of success in building and delivering fundraising strategies, achieving income growth, and managing multiple income streams. You will have exceptional communication skills, including the ability to work at board level, and a deep understanding of financial planning and reporting. You will be a natural leader, able to engage, motivate, and inspire a team of fundraisers, and play a key part in building a strong and inclusive organizational culture.
