Role Summary:

The position of Commissioning Support Officer within the Younger Adults' Commissioning Team is crucial for facilitating all facets of the Commissioning Cycle. This team is dedicated to implementing a person-centered and strengths-based methodology that enables service users and caregivers to lead independent lives, particularly in the areas of Learning Disability, Physical Disability, and Mental Health support services.

Your background in Health, Housing, or Social Care will be invaluable as you utilize your exceptional communication abilities to foster robust relationships with our providers, ensuring that the quality of contracts and the overall service user experience remains exemplary. You will also be involved in direct audits and the enhancement of our services.

By leveraging your networking capabilities across both internal and external teams, you will concentrate on business intelligence, data analysis, provider engagement, and financial troubleshooting, while also supporting our Finance processes to guarantee timely and accurate payments to our providers.

Drawing from your previous experience in contract management, you will prepare reports based on quarterly data submissions and assist in tendering and contracting strategies. Specific contracts will be assigned to you, requiring you to compile and analyze complex data from various sources, including service user feedback and performance metrics, to effectively address issues and identify opportunities for service development. This will involve generating insightful reports for management review and decision-making.

Your meticulous attention to detail and planning skills will be essential in identifying current and future challenges, contributing to the development and execution of service improvement plans.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel may be necessary within the region.
