Commissioning Support Officer

About the Role:
Hampshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Support Officer to join our Younger Adults' Commissioning Team within Adults' Health and Care. As a Commissioning Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting all aspects of the Commissioning Cycle, working closely with our providers and service users to deliver high-quality support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use your excellent communication skills to engage and build strong relationships with our providers and ensure the quality of contracts and the service user experience remains high.
- Directly audit and develop our services, applying your networking skills across both internal and external teams.
- Focus on business intelligence, data analysis, provider engagement, and financial trouble shooting, as well as support our Finance processes to ensure prompt and accurate payment to our providers.
- Prepare reports from quarterly data returns and support tendering/contracting planning, collating and analysing complex data from sources including service user feedback and performance and contract delivery data.
- Produce intelligent insights and reports for your managers and peers to review and inform decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- Experience of working within Health, Housing, or Social Care.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Ability to travel to other locations within Hampshire as necessary.
