Commissioning Support Professional

Job Summary:
The Commissioning Support Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting all aspects of the Commissioning Cycle within the Younger Adults' Commissioning Team.
About the Role:
The Younger Adults' Commissioning Team focuses on delivering a person-centred and strengths-based approach that empowers service users and carers to live independent lives across Learning Disability, Physical Disability, and Mental Health support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use excellent communication skills to engage and build strong relationships with providers and ensure the quality of contracts and the service user experience remains high.
- Directly audit and develop services to ensure they meet the needs of the Council and service users.
- Apply business intelligence, data analysis, provider engagement, and financial troubleshooting skills to support the Finance processes and ensure prompt and accurate payment to providers.
- Prepare reports from quarterly data returns and support tendering/contracting planning.
- Collate and analyse complex data from sources including service user feedback and performance and contract delivery data to successfully resolve issues and identify service development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience of working within Health, Housing, or Social Care.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Ability to travel to other locations within Hampshire as necessary.
