Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our client's team at Clearwater People Solutions Ltd. as a 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in IT support and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Regularly check and monitor the backups, email systems, and software patches to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
  • Supplier Liaison: Collaborate with suppliers to resolve warranty-related issues and ensure timely repairs.
  • Hardware and Software Management: Order and manage hardware and software assets, including desktops, servers, and applications.
  • User Support: Provide technical assistance to end-users, including remote office and home workers, to resolve IT-related issues.
  • Account Management: Create, delete, and manage user accounts for joiners and leavers.
  • Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of our IT assets, including hardware and software inventory.
  • Cybersecurity: Participate in cybersecurity activities and ensure compliance with our Information Security Management System.
  • Data Management: Import data into Oracle for development and test teams.
  • PC Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair PC-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10/11/Server 2016/2019/2022, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, IP Networks, Switches & Cabling, Virtualisation (Hyper-v), and Backup Systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, calm under pressure, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
