Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer to join our client's team at Clearwater People Solutions Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to our IT infrastructure, working on new systems and upgrade projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users, including remote office and home workers, to resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the IT infrastructure, including backups, email systems, software patches, desktop, server, and application installations.
  • Supplier Liaison: Liaise with suppliers for warranty repairs and ordering hardware/software as needed.
  • Asset Management: Maintain the asset database and ensure accurate records of company assets.
  • Cyber Security: Participate in cyber and information security activities in line with our Information Security Management System.
  • Data Importation: Import data into Oracle for development and test teams.
  • PC Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair PCs as needed.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Windows 10/11/Server 2016/2019/2022, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, IP Networks, Switches & Cabling, Virtualisation (Hyper-v), Backup Systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, calm under pressure, excellent communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
