We are looking for a compassionate and skilled SEN Support Assistant to become part of our welcoming primary educational institution. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting educators, crafting tailored learning experiences, and empowering children with SEN to achieve their utmost potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with educators to design and implement customized learning strategies for students with SEN.
  • Offer individualized support within the classroom, ensuring all students can engage with the curriculum and feel valued.
  • Establish a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that addresses the unique requirements of SEN students.
  • Utilize effective techniques to address and manage challenging behaviors.
  • Prior experience with SEN students and/or managing challenging behaviors is crucial.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possess a relevant qualification for working with children in educational settings, such as a Level 2 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
  • Have substantial experience in a classroom setting with SEN learners.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the curriculum and its adaptation for SEN requirements.
  • Exhibit a genuine passion for nurturing a love of learning in all students, irrespective of their abilities.
  • Showcase exceptional patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • Have a proven track record of building trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

  • You must possess the legal right to work in the UK.
  • You should be prepared to attend a registration interview.

All quoted pay rates will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the potential for permanent placement in some instances.
