Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Mainstream Primary School in Rossendale. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing specialist support to children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with ASC and challenging behaviour
- Liaise with parents and SENCO to ensure effective communication and progress monitoring
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with ASC and challenging behaviour
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS clearance
