About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Psychology graduates to join our team of SEN Teaching Assistants at an OFSTED rated 'Outstanding' SEN school. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your psychology background in a supportive, nurturing, and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individual students and small groups with tailored learning activities.
  • Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Provide emotional and social support, helping students to develop confidence and independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to adapt classroom activities and materials to meet the needs of all learners.
Requirements
  • A Psychology Degree (or related field).
  • A genuine interest in working with children with SEN and a desire to make a positive impact.
  • An enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a resilient mindset.
