Job Description

**Job Title:** Behaviour Support Specialist

**Job Type:** Temporary

**Location:** BB10, BB11, and BB12 areas

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Specialist to work on a full or half-day basis, providing support to pupils and reinforcing self-esteem. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing positive behaviour management and working well with classroom teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement positive behaviour management strategies to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to develop and implement behaviour plans.
  • Provide pastoral support to pupils, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Adjust approach to meet the changing needs of pupils with SEN.
  • Contribute to raising achievement and attendance in schools.

Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting pupils with SEN.
  • Ability to implement positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and flexibility.
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
