Behaviour Support Role

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Behaviour Support Specialist to work with primary schools in the BB10, BB11, and BB12 area. This role involves providing pastoral support and challenging pupils to reinforce self-esteem and promote positive behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to support pupils with SEN
  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils with behaviour challenges
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents
  • Contribute to the development of behaviour policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid enhanced DBS check

Teaching Personnel offers a competitive rate of pay, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent in some cases.
