Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will work on a full or half day basis, challenging and motivating pupils, reinforcing self-esteem, and providing pastoral support. This role contributes to raising achievement and attendance, ensuring schools meet their attendance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to support pupil learning.
  • Provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Adjust approach to meet the changing needs of pupils with SEN.
  • Display a positive attitude and a commitment to safeguarding procedures.
  • Be reliable and flexible in your approach.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and training for this role.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
