Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team at a primary school in Burnley, East Lancashire. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist support to children with ASC and challenging behaviour
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to support children's learning and development
  • Liaise with parents and SENCO to ensure effective communication and progress monitoring
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to deliver high-quality education

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with ASC and challenging behaviour
  • Ability to work effectively in a primary school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
