Job Description

Job Title: Support Worker Team Leader

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker Team Leader to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Support Worker Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our clients in their own homes, while also leading and managing a team of support workers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Care: Provide high-quality care and support to our clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and medication management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of support workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that care standards are met, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage and maintain accurate records, including client files, timesheets, and other administrative tasks.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Must have a relevant qualification in care or a related field.
  • Experience: Must have experience working in a care setting, with a strong understanding of care principles and practices.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Training: Must be willing to undergo training and development to meet the needs of our clients and the organization.
  • DBS: Must have an enhanced DBS disclosure.
  • Driving: Must have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
