Job Title: Support Worker Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker Team Leader to join our team at HomeCareDirect. As a Support Worker Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, while also leading and managing a team of Support Workers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Support Workers to ensure high-quality care and support is provided to clients
  • Conduct quality checks of Support Worker tasks and notes to ensure compliance with CQC standards
  • Organize and chair team meetings to discuss client care plans and team performance
  • Check and authorize monthly timesheets to ensure accurate payment and compliance with company policies
  • Approve annual leave and arrange cover as needed to ensure continuity of care
  • Serve as the point of contact for staff regarding sick leave and provide support and guidance as needed
  • Complete monthly wellbeing audits to ensure the physical and emotional wellbeing of clients and staff
  • Participate in the recruitment and induction of new staff to ensure a smooth onboarding process
Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure required for this vacancy
  • Must be a driver aged 25 years or over with a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle due to the location of the client
  • Good use of and understanding of English and communication skills due to client needs
  • Prepared to commit to long-term care for one client in a person-centered way
  • Willing to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs
  • Respect company policies and procedures
  • Be reliable, non-judgmental, caring, responsible, and compassionate
  • Committed to confidentiality and treat the client with dignity and respect
