Sellick Partnership is seeking to appoint a Strategic Finance Partner for a prominent and well-regarded private equity-backed organization located in Leeds.


This role offers a unique opportunity to engage deeply with the business and gain invaluable insights during a pivotal phase of their strategic initiatives.


The primary objective of this position is to formulate and present comprehensive and insightful financial reporting and analysis to the Operations team and field business partners, driving actions that enhance performance and informed decision-making.


Key responsibilities include modeling intricate business scenarios and delivering compelling narratives through performance reporting. You will be responsible for developing, engaging, and executing the Strategic Finance Plan, Budgets, and Forecasts for your designated area, ensuring effective stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) transitioning from a top-tier practice or coming from a comparable commercial analyst background.


This role demands an ambitious and proactive individual who thrives on applying a strong commercial perspective, with the capability to cultivate robust and productive relationships, providing both support and constructive challenge across various functions while collaborating with senior management.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, business partnering skills, and the ability to influence effectively within a complex business environment with multiple stakeholders.

Additionally, you should demonstrate strong business acumen and the ability to acquire knowledge across a wide range of functions.


Excellent communication skills are crucial, enabling you to translate financial data into actionable insights and foster successful business relationships.


You should also be able to maintain a holistic view while demonstrating internal consultancy and influencing skills, along with a keen attention to detail.
