About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the South and East Leeds GP Group as an Appointment Rota Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating appointment rotas and providing high-level administration support to the PCN Manager, Leadership Team, and member practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage appointment rotas for PCN staff
  • Be the main point of contact for PCN staff when calling in sick and then contacting patients to rearrange their appointments
  • Provide administration support to the PCN Manager and Team Leads
  • Provide IT support and liaise between the PCN and GPIT
  • Manage the PCN MS Teams site
  • Maintain the PCNs file management system
  • Collate activity reports from each service to demonstrate the work undertaken for their patients
  • Undertake any ad hoc reporting as requested by the PCN Manager or members of the PCN leadership team
  • Format and distribute the PCN newsletter
  • Prepare, produce, review, and circulate all documents required for meetings in a timely fashion and to a high standard
  • Develop and maintain electronic systems and/or databases required for the role

Person Specification

  • Good standards of general education - minimum of 4 GCSEs, at Grade 4 or above or equivalent must include English Language
  • Keyboarding/typing qualification equivalent to RSA 3/OCR Advanced
  • Text/word processing or equivalent proven typing skills to a high standard
  • Demonstrable commitment to professional and personal development
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
