We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Utilise Recruitment. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and commissioning equipment to high standards, carrying out routine work, and supporting the service desk in achieving team objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and commission all equipment to meet customer specifications and industry standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with contractual conditions.
- Collaborate with the service desk to achieve team objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure high working standards of Quality, Health & Safety, and Environment are maintained.
- Provide training and support to customers on equipment usage and maintenance.
- Build strong customer relationships and promote excellent customer service.
- Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently, with a focus on first-time fixes.
- Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained, stored, and labeled.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Complete accurate work sheets and time sheets in a timely manner.
- Provide regular reports to the service desk on equipment status and customer interactions.
- Communicate sales leads and opportunities for new sites or equipment enhancements to the service desk.
- Basic electrical and engineering knowledge.
- HNC/HND or ONC or equivalent qualifications in electrical engineering.
- IT networking and PC maintenance skills.
- Understanding of parking systems, hardware, and software.
- Good working knowledge of PC-based networked control systems.
- Full driving license.
- Ability to work overtime and occasionally work away from home.
- Previous experience in the parking industry.
- Understanding of CCTV systems and wireless communication systems.
