Interim Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Integris Financial Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the AP Function in undertaking AP/procurement duties, collaborating with the finance team and wider business in the delivery of day-to-day accounts payable tasks and key projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Accounts Payable:
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors
- Match supplier invoices to Purchase Orders and manage exceptions
- Manage vendor payment runs and non-standard payments processing
- Set up and maintain vendor information and resolve queries in a timely manner
- Ensure employee expenses are processed in line with company policy and on time
- Reconcile vendor statements and direct debit accounts
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Procurement Support:
- Document the supply of services from each active supplier
- Create and maintain up-to-date policies and procedures documentation
- Onboard new vendors and manage the vendor master list
- Coach and support sites to enable transition to new procurement processes
- Provide administrative support and maintain internal databases and spreadsheets
- Review and resolve procurement queries from the business
- Accounting Support:
- Process intercompany invoices and balance sheet reconciliations
- Respond to audit queries and provide support as needed
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, or accounts payable
- Educated to degree level
- Relevant qualifications and/or other accountancy qualifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in SAP/SAP4Hana and MS Office products
- Experience with Basware
- Project management skills
- System migration experience
- Leadership skills
- Multisite business experience
