Integris Financial Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Interim Accounts Payable Manager to join our client's team for a 6-month contract with the potential for extension. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work.
Role OverviewAs the Interim Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the accounts payable function. You will lead a team of two assistants, overseeing all aspects of the process from purchase order management to invoice processing and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Operational Support:
- Supervise a team of two accounts payable assistants to ensure seamless delivery of the Accounts Payable function.
- Manage the purchase order workflow, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Onboard new suppliers, establishing relationships and setting up necessary processes.
- Resolve issues identified during the purchase order to invoice matching process, maintaining data integrity.
- Code invoices accurately and efficiently for proper accounting categorization.
- Conduct data integrity and cleansing activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial records.
- Review and approve employee expense reports, adhering to company policies.
- Financial Reporting:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for the month-end close process.
- Provide support to the wider finance operations team during the month-end AP-related activities.
- Audit Support:
- Work closely with Group auditors, providing timely and accurate information as requested.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and month-end activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team and with other departments. A proactive and results-oriented approach, coupled with the ability to manage workload independently, is highly valued.
