Job Title: LGBTQ Women's Substance Support Specialist

Birmingham LGBT is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate LGBTQ Women's Substance Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide substance support services to LGBTQ women in Birmingham, working to reduce the incidence of substance misuse and promote overall health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with and support LGBTQ women in Birmingham, providing substance support services and promoting healthy lifestyles.
  • Work collaboratively with the substance support team to identify and address substance misuse issues among LGBTQ women.
  • Develop and implement effective substance support programs and services, ensuring they meet the unique needs of LGBTQ women.
  • Provide education and awareness-raising activities to promote healthy lifestyles and reduce substance misuse among LGBTQ women.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with LGBTQ individuals and communities, particularly in the area of substance support.
  • Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and their impact on LGBTQ women.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
