Substance Support Worker for LBTQ Women

Birmingham LGBT is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Support Worker to join our team in providing essential services to LBTQ women in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with and support LBTQ women in Birmingham to address substance misuse issues.
  • Identify and reduce the incidence of poor health among LBTQ women in Birmingham.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide substance support services from the Birmingham LGBT Centre and off-site outreach locations.
  • Work on a rota basis, including evening and weekend shifts, and travel to sites in Birmingham and Solihull.

Requirements:

  • Accountable to the Lead Development Officer, Substance Support Service.
  • Permanent contract with 25 days annual leave per annum (pro rata) plus bank holidays.
  • £24,666 per annum (pro rata) – 18.5 hours per week (plus up to 5% matched pension contributions).
