Job Title: LBTQ Women's Substance Support Outreach Worker

Birmingham LGBT is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our substance support team as an LBTQ Women's Substance Support Outreach Worker. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of LBTQ women in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and engage with individuals with substance misuse issues within the LBTQ community.
  • Provide support services from the Birmingham LGBT Centre and in off-site outreach locations.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to reduce the incidence of poor health among LBTQ women in Birmingham.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in substance support or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £24,666 per annum (pro-rata) plus up to 5% matched pension contributions.
  • 25 days' annual leave per annum (pro-rata) plus bank holidays.
  • A fixed-term contract to 31 March 2025, ongoing subject to funding.
