About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and driven Shift Manager to join our Guest Services Team at Butlins. The purpose of this role is to provide daily support to the team in your areas, including Guest Services and Welcome Team. You will be able to consistently put yourself in your guests and team members' shoes and be able to show strength in challenging situations. You will be able to role model exceptional service and ensure agreed standards across the department are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage both your internal team and external service providers to ensure full compliance of all H&S policies are adhered to.
  • Oversee all team activities within the department, including recruitment, performance, and team development.
  • Be a real advocate for your team's fulfillment at work, ensuring that you are having regular 121's and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlins.
  • Enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Guest Services leader that can support the team to deliver fantastic service, putting the guests first in everything you do. You will have experience in training and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment to deliver an excellent experience.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in leadership and complaints handling.
  • Confidence to direct and respond in any situation while delivering consistent brand standards.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and engage your team, even at periods of high demand.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire your team to deliver amazing results for our teams and guests every day.
