About the role
Were looking for a dedicated and driven Shift Manager to join our Guest Services Team. The purpose of this role is to provide daily support to the team in your areas, including Guest Services and Welcome Team. You will be able to consistently put yourself in your guests and team members shoes and be able to show strength in challenging situations. You will be able to role model exceptional service and ensure agreed standards across the department are met at all times.
This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility of working hours is essential and hours will include weekends.
As part of the Resorts Management team, it will be your responsibility to manage both your internal team and external service providers to ensure full compliance of all H&S polices are adhered to.
You will also oversee all team activities within the department including recruitment, performance, and team development. You should be a real advocate for your teams fulfilment at work, ensuring that you are having regular 121's and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlins.
As with all roles at Butlins, no day will be the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.
About You
We are looking for an experiencedGuest Services leader that can support the team to deliver fantastic service, putting the guests first in everything you do. You will have experience in training and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment to deliver an excellence experience.
You should have previous experience in leadership and complaints handling.
You should be confident to direct and respond in any situation whilst delivering consistent brand standards.
The ability to lead, motivate and engage your team, even at periods of high demand is important, as well as being able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
With strong leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring your team to deliver amazing results for our teams and guests every day.
