Job Description

Role Overview

Clarus Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Merton. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with high-functioning Autism (ASC) and a passion for supporting their educational and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with Autism in a specialist school setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying needs
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who:

  • Has a strong understanding of Autism and its effects on students
  • Is able to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents
  • Is flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is committed to providing high-quality support to students with SEN
