Exciting Opportunity for SEN Teaching Assistant - Specialising in ASD Support

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with expertise in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder to join our team at Vision Teaching.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in ASD support, you will be responsible for building a positive and supportive rapport with the student, collaborating with the SENCO and teaching staff to create and follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and monitoring and reporting on the student's progress and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with ASD.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching staff to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that cater to the student's unique needs.
  • Monitor and report on the student's progress and well-being, providing regular updates to the SENCO and teaching staff.
  • Provide individualized support to the student, adapting to their needs and preferences.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience supporting students with ASD.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support.
