Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Brixton

Location: Brixton Hill (SW2)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the class teacher and pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offering support to the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons to pupils with special educational needs.
  • Providing individual and group support to pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans.
  • Building good student-teacher rapport and promoting a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with Autism, Speech Language and Communication difficulties.
  • Previous experience managing challenging behavior.
  • Ideally experience working with children and/or young people.
  • Valid and enhanced child or child and adult DBS check.
