Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Quality Service Recruitment Limited. This role offers flexibility and is focused on providing exceptional care to our residents.

About the Role

You will be working in a well-appointed residential care facility that accommodates up to 27 individuals. Our home is committed to delivering top-notch care for elderly residents dealing with age-related conditions, including Dementia and Alzheimer's.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Following personalized care plans for each resident to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Supporting residents with mobility and nutritional needs, prioritizing their physical and psychological well-being.
  • Providing compassionate and friendly care throughout the day to enhance the quality of life for each service user.
Requirements

To be considered for the Healthcare Assistant position, you will need:

  • An Enhanced DBS check completed within the last year.
  • Current training in Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, and Moving & Handling.
  • A referenceable work history.
  • A minimum of 3 months of experience in a similar role.

If you do not possess a valid DBS or the necessary training, we offer assistance in obtaining these qualifications through online training at a subsidized cost, with certificates provided upon completion.

Work Schedule

This ongoing position involves a variety of shifts during weekdays, typically including:

  • 08:00 - 15:00
  • 15:00 - 22:00
  • 08:00 - 22:00
Compensation

The pay rate for this role is £11.50 per hour for day shifts worked from Monday to Friday.
