Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Support Assistant to join our team at NHS Jobs. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our GPs, including sorting and prioritizing clinical post, signposting relevant information to other healthcare professionals, and extracting information from clinical letters for coding and note-taking purposes.
  • Appointment and Referral Coordination: Arrange appointments, referrals, tests, and follow-up appointments for patients, ensuring that all necessary information is communicated to relevant parties.
  • Communication and Liaison: Develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including clinical pharmacists, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required by management or GP Partners, ensuring that the practice runs efficiently and effectively.
