Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Support Assistant to join our team at NHS Jobs. As a Clinical Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our General Practitioners and management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the General Practitioners and management team, including sorting and prioritizing clinical post, signposting relevant information to other healthcare professionals, and extracting information from clinical letters.
  • Appointment and Referral Coordination: Arrange appointments, referrals, tests, and follow-up appointments for patients, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately recorded and communicated.
  • Communication and Liaison: Develop effective communication and liaison skills to work with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required by management or General Practitioners, including supporting with clinical coding, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
